DiBond is modern material of very high-quality. It is made of aluminium with a low weight core. So, it is a great alternative to a photo mosaic printed on canvas or in a picture frame. A photo mosaic printed on DiBond has high structural rigidity and low weight. In comparison to a product that is made of pure aluminum, this option is more affordable and more resilient.
Our dibond prints are unique in that we don’t print directly to the dibond, but rather print to professional quality photo paper then mount your mosaic to the dibond for supreme color accuracy, vibrancy and longevity. The print is then laminated for protection and provides a matte or glossy look.

What is Dibond?
Dibond aluminum is 1/8” thick and is a winning choice due to its classic and understated appearance. Nevertheless the material is of high quality and sturdiness. The Dibond aluminum sheets consist of a black plastic core and two thin aluminum plates. So DiBond has low weight, high dimensional stability, and long lifespan.
Material properties
For a photo mosaic on aluminum, the main picture needs a 4:3 aspect ratio. If your main picture doesn’t have these dimensions, we’ll crop it for you for free. First, we print the photo mosaic on high quality paper. Afterwards, we laminate it onto the DiBond manually.
Includes bracket
The photo mosaic printed on DiBond has a bracket attached. So, you can hang it directly on the wall. You’ll receive our standard bracket free of charge. If you wish, you can also receive our premium bracket. Just drop us a line when you order the photo mosaic.
Mounting & Accessories
Your photo mosaic will be suspended 3/4” away from the wall with this bracket.
The bracket will also be pre-attached by us. All that’s left for you to do is mount a rail on the wall, and your photo mosaic will hang suspended with a 3/4” distance from your wall.
Production and delivery times of the photo mosaic
Due to the multi-stage production process, the production and delivery times for Alu-DiBond are 3-5 working days after receipt of payment. Express delivery can also be added. For delivery, the mosaic is packed in bubble wrap and provided with a side protection.
