To create the partial photo mosaic, we cut out the area you mention and place it over the photo mosaic. Just drop us a comment when uploading you images for the free preview. Thus, you get a mixture of a photo mosaic and your original main image.
It is perfectly suited to keep and display small details of the main image. You can also highlight certain areas of the image to give the photo mosaic a 3D-ish effect. This kind of mosaic is therefore often used for a wedding mosaic picture.
For the free preview your desired area will be cut out roughly. If you like your partial photo mosaic, we will cut out the area perfectly afterwards.

When working on a partial mosaic, we frist cut out the area you wish roughly. After an order has been placed, this exposed area is manually cut out very fine. For this reason, the processing of the partial mosaic costs additional $39, and is added to the regular price of the material and dimension you have chosen.
Quality of the main image for your partial photo mosaic
To create a partial mosaic we need the main image in a good quality. The size should be about 3-5 MB, as we cut out the main image and place it ontop of the photo mosaic. When your main picture is to small, the exposed area is blurred. In this case we will give you a note when creating the free preview.
